Description: ASRC Energy Services is presently looking of Corporate Staff Attorney (Contracts) right now, this position will be depute in Alaska. More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Under the general direction of the General Counsel, this position
assists in the review, drafting and negotiation of standard and non-standard agreements for oil ! and gas services, construction services and fabrication services, along with other agreements and contracts, including vendor, licensing, statements of work, non-disclosure and consulting agreements.
This position would work with the companyÂ's procurement and supply chain departments to prepare bid documentation and negotiate contracts with the companyÂ's vendors, customers and partners, globally.
This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Detailed Description
·
Review, draft, negotiate and efficiently close contracts, and at all times protect the companyÂ's interests.
·
Assist internal clients in articulating business needs in contract terms.
·
Work closely and professionally with others in the legal group, identifying and escalating complex legal and factual issues and assisting in their resolution.
·
Work with supply chain management to manage and prepare bid respons! es in a timely fashion.
·
Work with procure! ment to streamline and facilitate vendor contracts.
·
Provide strong partnership and establish and maintain strong relationships with business lines.
·
Support continuous improvement of form agreements and internal processes.
·
Promote continual development, optimization and implementation of contracts processes and standards.
·
Support and assist with other legal and reporting matters.
·
Prepare reports, spreadsheets and statistical data to facilitate planning and maintenance of accurate records.
·
Provide leadership and education in ASRC Energy ServiceÂ's zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel.
Job Requirements
·
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Scie! nce degree required
·
Judicial Doctorate degree from accredited ABA institution is required.
·
Minimum three (3) years of contract negotiation and drafting and contract management experience.
·
In-house legal experience preferred.
·
Familiarity with oil and gas contracts preferred.
·
Ability to read and interpret legal language and identify and mitigate risk.
·
Ability to draft legal language and exercise excellent independent analytical judgment.
·
Strong negotiation skills and professional attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and outside vendors spanning all levels of the organization.
·
Adept in managing multiple tasks with competing priorities; self-motivated and regularly works with minimal direction; excellent follow-up skills and abi! lity to meet aggressive deadlines.

Great attention! to detail.
·
Excellent problem solving skills to resolve complex issues and balance client demands
·
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Licensed to practice law in Alaska preferred.
Additional Details
A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
1. Meet the AES Driver License and Records Policy.
AES Driver Licenses and Records policy.
2. Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
3. Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
