Bering Straits Orion Management (BSOM) is seeking a
Justice Advisor I to provide broad range of advice and
technical assistance on criminal! justice issues to
senior officials.
This one-year assignment (with option to extend) will be
in various overseas locations (as determined by the U.S.
Government). This job WILL NOT be filled for at least
3-6 months and is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide advice and assistance to draft new legal

codes and procedures.

• Train local officials on new codes and procedures

(including training local trainers).

• Provide advice and guidance on managing and

prosecuting complex criminal cases.

• Specialists may have to work with other

international and local officials and international
organizations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law.
• Advisors shall have at least three (3) years of

criminal trial e! xperience as a criminal defense
attorney, prosecutor, judg! e, or court administrator.

• Must possess excellent writing and verbal

communication skills.

• Must possess excellent analytical skills.
• Must be willing to travel internationally,

particularly to developing countries as well as
training sites in the US for short periods.

• Must be able to work in an environment with frequent

shifts in priorities on a day-to-day basis.

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass company background

investigation.

• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for SECRET

security clearance.

• Must be able to pass a physical exam and an agility

test as determined by the employing agency for the
job category, as well as a medical and psychiatric
exam.

• Must pass a nine-panel drug test for THC, Cocaine,

PCP (Phencyclidine), Opiates, Methamphetamine,
Met! hadone, Amphetamine, Barbiturates, and
Benzodiazepines.

• Must have or be able to obtain a current U.S.

passport or have the ability to obtain one prior to
deployment.

• Must have or be able to obtain license to operate a

standard transmission 4x4 vehicle

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in one or more of the following

languages is desirable but not required: Arabic,
Kurdish, Albanian, Turkish, French/Creole, Spanish,
Pashto, Farsi, Dari.

Working Environment / Physical Activities :
Various locations internationally. Candidate must be
able to pass a physical exam and an agility test as
determined by the employing agency for the job category.
