Property Administrator [South Africa]


 

A reputable company is urgently seeking a Property Portfolio Administrator with vast experience in marketing and administration.

Duties & Responsibilities)

Duties

  • Sales & Marketing –Market and listing all vacant properties . In the event of a purchase / sale, to manage the complete process including all administration
  • Vet all potential tenants and ensure that all FICA documents are verified and submitted
  • Lease agreements - Working with the legal department , agents, and other professionals in the preparation and finalization of all Lease.
  • Rentals - To manage all administration related to letting/leasing/renting of all property
  • Invoicing - Ensure that invoicing is done for all properties monthly
  • Repairs & Maintenace Schedules - Management of all properties including organising day-to-day repairs , maintenance, or security, negotiating leases and contracts
  • Utilities - Ensure that all utilities for all properties are monitored and paid timeously
  • Income & Expenditure - Ensure that all income and expenses and capital expenditure are managed, recorded and reported against set budgets
  • Property Access - To ensure that access is afforded to all properties as required for reading of public utility meters, inspections , statutory authorities, and insurance company representatives as required.
  • Administration - Maintain all records of the company properties

  • Good communications skills (verbal & written)
  • Proven administrative and organisational skills
  • Confidence (liaising with various clients/stakeholders)
  • Ability to plan and manage priorities
  • Ability to respond quickly, effectively, and flexibly
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner and maintain confidential information
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

Experience & Additional Requirements

  • +5 years working experience in a Property Management/ Property Sales
  • Qualification in Property Management/ Office Management
  • Drivers Licence
  • Willing to travel
  • Available immediately
  • Traceable References/companies

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Property Management: 5 years (Required)
