SUMMARY
As a Treasury Analyst, you play a key role in developing and managing the firm's control and reconciliation of data for the treasury department, focused on leverage operations. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for developing data retrievals and reconciliation processes to ensure the financial data is controlled with a high degree of accuracy. The Treasury Analyst will coordinate funding sources and managing liquidity through production of loan data tapes. The analyst is a critical role in our capital markets activities in which you will gain knowledge of US capital markets and financial system. Professionals in this function need to have an analytical mindset, exhibit intellectual curiosity, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the leverage data tape production to ensure that it is accurate and timely, interacting directly with our external leverage partners
- Develop a process to retrieve data from multiple system to perform data analysis and reconciliations
- Ensure the firm's daily cash needs are being met by executing leverage submissions and reviews
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate existing manual processes with reconciliation controls
- Investigate and resolve breaks by coordinating efforts across departments and levels, including external parties (sub-servicer and repo agent)
- Evaluate and exercise judgement when reviewing data to determine if any anomalies exist and provide analysis and solutions to resolve them
- Oversee the booking of leverage transactions into firm's accounting system
- Performs other duties as assigned

The right candidate should have 0-3 years of relevant experience and possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced Excel formulas (lookup & reference) and PowerPoint
- Sage Intact or other accounting software experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to exercise excellent judgement and discretion as a control focused individual
Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000
