The Web Developer Tech will assist the Web Developer in working on a variety of projects primarily involved in web site design and development, including creation of cus! tom graphics. The Web Developer Tech will also assist in designing the user interface and overall customer experience for our web sites and applications. This includes assisting the Web Developer in overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Web Services
- Responsible for assisting in design maintenance of all Web sites and other electronic publications
- Works with Interactive Director in preparation of illustrative materials from artists and vendors.
- Helps ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a
design.
- Works with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects.
- Provides support in design el! ements, comps, templates, and finished solutions.
- Par! ticipates in efforts to improve quality of Web sites and other electronic publications as
Coordination Services
- Handles daily interaction with assigned customers and clients.
- Advise the account manager in charge of the account of any customer issues and coordinate
- Provide price quotes to customers as requested.
- Supports other personnel in handling external or internal customer needs.
- Assists with budgets and proofing creative materials.
- Complete special projects as assigned by Manager.
- Works with various client teams as directed.
- Other duties as assigned
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are represen! tative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Education and/or Experience :
Communications, Business or related field or equivalent academic and work experience.
Knowledge of HTM/ Web technologies and applications. Knowledge of CSS and Adobe CS6 suite.
One to three years experience in Web-based graphic design or web interface design, Ability to
coordinate with internal and external groups. Experience with audio/video demonstration
technologies is highly desirable. Written communication skills a must.
- Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of
organization.
- Mat! hematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using! whole numbers,
interpret bar graphs.
- Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to type 45 words
processing software. Macintosh experience a plus.
